What the heck is Python?
Python is arguably the fastest growing programming language in the world, for good reason. Due to its simplicity, open-source nature, large community, and wealth of application, Python can be used to solve business problems in many sectors. The objective of this 4-day workshop is to gain confidence in the main elements of Python programming and its application to basic data science problems. On the first day of the course, we waste no time, but jump right into making some user interface calculations. We continue to build on a new skill with each project. By the end of day four, graphing should be a breeze, and we will even take a stab at creating a few games.
• Learn to the core syntax of writing and developing interacting models.
• Learn the fundamentals of some of the most widely used Python packages; including Turtles, Pandas, and Matplotlib, then apply them to Data Analysis and Data Visualization projects.
• Design and code several Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) on a variety of concepts.
